TRADESMAN Architectural Studios is undertaking a comprehensive evaluation and recommendation process for elevator upgrades at six key locations: Oklahoma City Metro 1 parking garage, Metro 2 parking garage, Juvenile Justice Center, Investors Capital Building, County Courthouse, and County Annex Building.
The scope of this ambitious project encompasses:
- Replacing critical components: Including elevator controllers, machines, motors, governors, suspension ropes, rope grippers, guide shoes, elevator monitoring systems, cab controls, and sensors.
- Re-utilizing existing infrastructure: Including rails, buffers, counterweights, and cab shells.
- Installing new elevators within existing shafts: Upgrading cab finishes to enhance aesthetics and functionality, while also ensuring proper ventilation and space conditioning for both the machine room and shaft.
- Upgrading electrical systems: This involves replacing electrical feeders and confirming emergency power availability to a minimum number of elevators to ensure safety and reliability.
